The World Map allows you to keep track of your progress in the game.
By collecting a certain number of Stars, you get rewards that are shown on the location progress indicator at the top of the main screen.
When you collect a certain number of Stars, you move to the next location and get a reward.
The locations follow one another and are unlocked one by one. In addition, new locations can unlock new game mechanics for you.
